ABOUT EDDIE GATEWOOD

 

Eddie Gatewood is a talented musician that was born an raised in the music rich city of Memphis, TN.  Memphis is known for the talented musicians it breeds.  He is a Bass  player that many artists can call on and depend on...... no questions asked. 

 

Eddie knows what's important in his life.  God, family, and his music are his center.  Eddie's resume is extensive and he have been fortunate to play with some amazing gospel and R&B artists both local and nationally known. Some of the artists Eddie has had the pleasure of working with include: The Clark Sisters, Nikki Ross, Donnie McClurkin, Kevin Davidson, Earnest Pugh, Bernard Williams, and the C.O.G.I.C. Mass Choir just to name a few.  

 

Music is not just what Eddie does....it's who he is.  He is a hard working musician that continues to tour, showcasing his talent.  Not only does he play but he is a proficient reader of music and a musical director.
